When you are away from home you can remote access into your TS mini just as easy as entering your hotmail, 1) Open an Explore Window, 2) Enter your personal address, and 3) Enter your password. TS mini will assign you an easy-to-remember Internet address, such as “yourname. homeserver.com”. If there are multiple copies of the same data on different computers, the data would only be backed up once to maximize space efficiency.

Drive Extender supports storage expansion with any type and mixture of different capacity sized hard disk drive, such as Serial ATA, IDE, USB, FireWire and etc. The TS mini will see added storage as one large drive instead of many individual drives. System-Level Backup and Restore for Windows PC
After installation, the TS mini is automatically configured to perform full image-based backup of up to 10 configured computers every day, allowing for a complete computer recovery in the case of a hard drive failure, or restoration of a single file or folder in the event of accidental deletion or loss. Folder Duplication function prevents a single hard drive failure by automatically duplicating files in Share Folders across multiple hard drives, so when one hard drive is dead, the files are safely saved on another hard drive.
